The Income Tax department conducted raids at Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl's properties. The actress reacts to the raid in three main pointers
On Wednesday i.e 3rd March, the Income Tax department conducted raids at Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap, Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl’s residences as well as office premises. The officials have conducted raids in the tax evasion probes. Three days after the searches were conducted, Taapsee reacts to it in three major pointers on Twitter and she sarcastically says that she is “not so sasti anymore”.
Just yesterday, Taapsee Pannu’s boyfriend, Mathias Boe requested Union Minister Kiren Rijiju to help her. Boe stated that her family is depressed with the searches. Today, Taapsee took to her official Twitter handle and reacted to the income tax raids. She posted three-pointers in her tweet series and expressed herself.
Here’s what she shared in three of her tweet posts:
“3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily 1. The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner. “
“2.The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before”.
“3. My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister. P.S- “not so sasti” anymore.”
For the unversed, Anurag Kashyap was under the I-T Department’s lens apparently since 2013, however, the agency conducted the searches in the tax evasion probe, this was when the Phantom Films didn’t dissolve. On Wednesday the searches were conducted once again by the Income Tax department on the premises linked to the filmmakers including Taapsee who were related to the Phantom Films. Apparently, the searches were carried out in over 30 locations in Mumbai and Pune.
