Not Tabu, Nandita Das roped in for Rana Daggubati’s Virata Parvam
Nandita Das Replaced Tabu In Rana Daggubati's Movie?
‘Baahubali’ star Rana Daagubati and Sai Pallavi will be working together for an upcoming periodic drama ‘Virata Parvam’ which will be directed by Venu Udugula.
Sai Pallavi has already joined the sets and currently, the shoot is going on at the brisk pace. On the other side, Rana Daagubati is in the USA. Apparently, Rana Daggubati’s USA tour is said to have resulted in the delay of the Viarta Parvam shooting that is said to be leading to some dates clash issues for few actors.
According to reports, Tabu has walked out of the movie as she couldn’t help accommodating dates for this movie. Right now, she is working in Allu Arjun and Trivikram’s film #AA19, which has Pooja Hegde in the female lead. Tabu is also active in Bollywood and has a number of movies in her kitty. Now that Tabu has walked out, director Venu Udugual has approached award-winning actress Nandita Das to join the cast.
Nandita Das has acted in more than 40 feature films with renowned directors such as Mrinal Sen, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Shyam Benegal, Deepa Mehta, and Mani Ratnam. Her directorial debut was with Firaaq, which was premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, and won more than 20 awards. She is the first Indian inducted into the International Hall of Fame of the International Women’s Forum in Washington, DC.
