Raatchasi — one of the most anticipated Tamil movies of this month — has become the latest victim of pirated websites, Tamilrockers and movierulz. One of the most notorious pirated websites, Tamilrockers has leaked Raatchasi and made its HD print available to download for free. Notably, the film leaked on its releasing date so it might affect its box office collection as well.

In the film, Geeta Rani plays a headmistress of a government school. The film narrates the story of her how she reforms the school, students and teachers and safeguards the school and the students from external issues.

This is not the only film that has been leaked by Tamilrockers this week. The pirated website has also leaked much awaited Hollywood film Spider-Man: Far From Home even before the film hit the theatres. Yes, despite taken by law enforcement agencies, piracy websites such as Tamilrockers, torrent and Movierulz continue to operate with impunity.

The film Raatchashi, which received rave reviews from both critics and audience alike, was expected to mint decent money at the box office window, but the news of getting movie leaked on the releasing date has made fans upset.

Tamilrockers had recently leaked online several movies such as Kabir Singh, Pakkiri, Kolaigaran, X-Men Dark Phoenix, Bharat, Student of The Year 2, Maharshi, Avengers: Endgame among others.

In 2018, the Madras High Court directed internet service providers to block more than 12,000 websites, and over 2000 among them were operated by Tamilrockers alone. We urge our readers to avoid downloading Raatchasi from Tamilrockers as downloading content from torrent sites is illegal in India.
