Saturday Night Live: Taylor Swift Recites a British Joke in New ‘SNL’ Promo
This Weekend SNL host Phoebe Waller-Bridge and the Fleabag actress and writer wrote a joke for the Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift — an American singer-songwriter and actress — to appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live (SNL) this weekend. The makers of the show have finally dropped the promo of the show featuring Taylor Swift alongside host Phoebe Waller-Bride, who became an Emmys darling a few weeks ago for her show titled Fleabag.
In the latest promo, Taylor Swift tries to speak British as then asks Waller-Bridge whether or not she wrote the script. She says she did. Swift sounds like a London Boy. The promo also showcases Phoebe Waller-Bridge and the Fleabag actress and writer penned a British joke for the singer.
“It’s going to be mental innit, like a randy hen– did you write this?” Taylor says after cutting off the line.
“Yeah, sorry. It’s too British, isn’t it?” Phoebe replies. Taylor then says, “It’s a little bit, yeah.”
