Harbhajan Singh’s tweet on the surrender of the West Indies team in the first Test played at Rajkot wasn’t something that went down too well with the fans and now, it has also drawn flak from Tino Best one of the former fast bowlers from the Caribbean.
The West Indies were thoroughly outplayed in the match played at the Saurashtra Cricket Stadium where they were handed a defeat by an innings and 272 runs inside three days.
Harbhajan, after India’s emphatic win, had taken to Twitter and wrote, ”
With all due respect to West Indies Cricket but I have a question for u all…will this west Indies team qualify for Ranji quarters from the plate group? Elite se to nahin hoga 🧐 #INDvsWI

Best was one of the those with whom the tweet didn’t go down too well as he replied back with a reference to India’s 1-4 loss to England in the Test series earlier this year.
Best, a veteran of 26 ODIs, 25 Tests and 6 T20Is for the West Indies, wrote, ”
Hey bro didn’t see these cocky tweets vs England 🤷🏾♂️ …. but anyhow the young men will learn 🙏🏾

Harbhajan, 38, is yet to retire from international cricket, having last played for India in a T20I against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in March, 2016.
The off-spinner has taken 417 Test wickets for India and was also a member of India’s World T20 winning squad in 2007 and the World Cup in 2011.
A highly confident Indian side will take on the West Indies in the second and final Test match in Hyderabad from October 12.
