Pushpa: Vijay Sethupathi walks out of Allu Arjun & Rashmika Mandanna starrer?

The makers of the film are contemplating to replace Vijay Sethupathi with likes of Arvind Swamy and Bobby Simha.

On the occasion of Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s 37th birthday, the makers of the film, Pushpa released the title and first and second look poster of the film on social media. Since then, Pushpa has been in the news for its cast. According to reports the role of an antagonist in Pushpa will be portrayed by Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty.

Suniel Shetty had already played the role of villain in AR Murugadoss’ Darbar that also starred Rajinikanth and Nayantara. He is currently working with Manchu Vishnu in Mosagallu.

There have been reports claiming that Vijay Sethupathi has also been roped in to play a crucial role in Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer, which will be helmed by Sukumar.

If anything to go by the latest buzz, Vijay Sethupathi has walked out of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. The reason behind Vijay Sethupathi’s walkout of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is the date issues. Now, the makers of the film are contemplating to replace Vijay Sethupathi with likes of Arvind Swamy and Bobby Simha. However, there is no official confirmation from the team as of yet.

Pushpa is said to be based on red sanders smuggling set in the Seshachalam forest and Allu Arjun is playing the role of a Lorry Driver.

Rashmika Mandanna — who is known for her performances in films like Dear Comrade and Geetha Govindam — will play Allu Arjun’s love interest.

Notably, Pushpa marks the Allu Arjun’s third collaboration with Sukumar as they have earlier worked together in Arya and Arya 2. The film Pushpa will be released in five languages.

Jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
