Despite the significant drop in its collection, the film has performed well at the box office. Taking to Twitter, Lyca Productions, revealed that the film has crossed Rs 400-crore mark in five days.

If we talk about globally, the film has been giving a tough competition to Hollywood film The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald.

Trade analysts Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the international box office collection of Shankar’s film, 2.0. Till Sunday the film has raked in about Rs 24 crore in the United State alone.

Taran Adarsh tweeted, “After packing an impressive total in its *extended* opening weekend, 2.0 stays super-strong on the crucial Mon… Collecting double digits on a working day [Mon] – without enhanced ticket rates – indicates it has the stamina to perform well on weekdays. Note: HINDI version.”

Starring Akshay Kumar in the antagonist role, 2.0 also has Amy Jackson in the female lead. The film 2.0 was bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The film 2.0  has been made in a budget of more than Rs 500 crore.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has already wrapped up the shoot and dubbing of his upcoming film Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
