‘2.0’ First Day BO collection: Rajinikanth-Akshay starrer is setting the box office on fire
Director S Shankar’s much-awaited sci-fi drama ‘2.0’ has finally hit the theaters and as expected, it is creating a storm at the box-office. The Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer that has released in over 10,500 screens has opened to packed houses across the globe.

Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’, that is a sequel to his flick ‘Robot’ has collected a whopping Rs 2.64 crore in Chennai pushing Vijay’s ‘Sarkar’ (that had managed to collect 2.37 crore on its first day) to the second place.

‘2.0’ is a story about harmful radiation that emits from the cellphone towers and has adverse effects on the birds. Rajinikanth as Dr Vaseegaran and Chitti, with Akshay Kumar as the antagonist, is being loved by fans. The VFX is the cherry on the cake and seems to be luring the audience.
