Darlings: Alia Bhatt turns producer for dark comedy with Shah Rukh Khan

On Sunday, February 28, Alia Bhatt announced her maiden production venture named ‘Eternal Sunshine Production’ and now, on Monday, she has announced her first collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, titled, ‘Darlings.’ The film is set to be a dark comedy that will star Alia with Shefali Shah, ‘Choked’ actor Roshan Matthew and ‘Gully Boy’ fame Vijay Varma.

‘Darlings’ will also mark the directorial debut of Jasmeet K Reen who is teaming up with producers Alia and Shah Rukh. Written by Parveez Sheikh & Jasmeet. It is being produced by Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt and Gaurav Verma. The film is said to go on floors this month. Reportedly, the movie is set to be based on the dynamic mother-daughter duo that will be essayed by Alia and Shefali.
