The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ fame, Ankita Lokhande in her recent conversation with Arnab Goswami revealed some unknown facts about how Sushant Singh Rajput was a gem of a person. She also shed light upon the fact that the late actor was not a weak person to commit suicide when it comes to his professional life. During the conversation, the actress opened up about the reason why she couldn’t attend SSR’s funeral despite being in Mumbai.

In a recent conversation with Republic TV, the actress was quizzed on how did she got to know about Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. To this she quickly recalled and said, “A reporter called me and said ‘Ankita, Sushant committed suicide’ and I was finished. I decided not to go to his funeral because I knew if I saw him like that, I can’t forget it.”
She further mentioned that she has a whole life to live forward and she just couldn’t dare to see him in that state, and thus she decided to not attend his funeral. However, she made sure to meet his family members and console them. Ankita revealed that she wants to stand strong with Sushant’s family members, who are in a terrified state currently. They all want to know the cause of his death.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on July 14. Earlier it was stated that he committed suicide, however, the later developments in the case hint at the suspicious murder. A lot of his fans on social media have been demanding for CBI inquiry. Mumbai Police and Bihar Police are currently investigating the case separately.
