Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rakul Preet Singh starrer social drama film ‘Doctor G’ has finally got a release date! The announcement was made by the makers of the film on social media along with a new poster. The film is set to release on June 17, 2022, in cinema halls.

Doctor G will mark Ayushmann’s first collaboration with Rakul Preet. The film also marks the directorial debut of Anubhuti Kashyap. Produced by Junglee Pictures. It also features Shefali Shah and Sheeba Chaddha in supporting roles. The makers recently wrapped up an extensive schedule in Prayagraj. The film is written by Sumit Saxena, Vishal Wagh, and Saurabh Bharat.
The film marks the third collaboration between Khurrana and Junglee Pictures following hit films like Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) and Badhaai Ho (2018)
In the movie, Khurrana will be essaying the role of Dr. Uday Gupta, whereas, Rakul will play the role of Dr. Fatima Duggal. The film will reportedly revolve around a social message. The shooting of ‘Doctor G’ commenced on July 14 in Bhopal.
