  1. Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran

    It is a 2018 Indian historical action drama film directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Zee Studios and JA Entertainment. The film is written by Saiwyn Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh, and Abhishek Sharma. The film is based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army at Pokhran in 1998. It features John Abraham, Diana Penty, and Boman Irani. It was released on 25 May 2018. Parmanu was earlier slated to release on 8 December 2017, but the makers pushed the date to avoid clashing with Padmavati. Recently film got delayed further owing to conflicts between the producers of the film, Abraham’s JA Entertainment, and Kriarj entertainment.
  2. Bioscopewala

    It is an upcoming Indian Hindi drama film directed by Deb Medhekar and produced by Sunil Doshi. The film stars Danny Denzongpa and Geetanjali Thapa in lead roles and had it’s World Premiere at the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival on 28 October 2017. The film is an adaptation of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore’s short story Kabuliwala and is scheduled to release on 25 May 2018 in India. The Official Trailer of the film was released on YouTube by Fox Star Studios on 8 May 2018. Bioscopewala has taken forward the timeline of Kabuliwala, the original story written by Rabindranath Tagore, from the 19th century to somewhere in the 1980’s during the Taliban regime and changed the profession of Rehmat, the central character, from a dry fruit seller to a man who goes around showing films to children through his Bioscope.

    High Jack is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language stoner comedy film directed by Akarsh Khurana, starring Sumeet Vyas, Mantra and Sonnalli Seygall. The film’s theatrical trailer was launched on 27 March 2018. It was released on 18 May 2018.
  4. Khajoor Pe Atke

    Khajoor Pe Atke is a laugh riot written and directed by Harsh Chhaya, who makes his directorial debut. Starring Manoj Pahwa, Vinay Pathak, Dolly Ahluwalia, Seema Pahwa, Sanah Kapoor, Suneeta Sengupta, produced by Welcome Friends Productions, and presented by S.O.I.E., the film hits cinemas nationwide on 18th May and is distributed by PVR Pictures with music on Zee Music.
  5. Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain

    This film is presented by the prestigious National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC), is an Indian romantic drama film about three couples and their distinct viewpoints on the concept of love directed by Harish Vyas and written by him and Aryan Saha. The family drama Produced by Manav Malhotra, Bunty Khaan and co-produced by Swaroop Chaturvedi, stars Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi, Brijendra Kala, Ekavali Khanna, Anshuman Jha and Shivani Raghuvanshi in lead roles and had it’s World Premiere at the 14th Annual South Asian International Film Festival held in New York on 15 December 2017, where it won the Audience Choice for the Best Film.

    It is a 2018 Indian spy thriller film directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Vineet Jain, Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of Dharma Productions. It features Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat which is inspired by real events. It is about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer (played by Vicky Kaushal) during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 on the order of her father played by Rajit Kapur. Principal photography of the film began on July 2017 in Mumbai and the shooting was wrapped up on 27 October 2017. Raazi was shot across several locations including Patiala, Nabha, Malerkotla, and Doodhpathri. The film was released on 11 May 2018. It earned over ₹140 crore (US$21 million) worldwide to emerge as one of the highest-grossing Indian films featuring a female protagonist.
  7. Hope Aur Hum

    Hope Aur Hum is a 2018 Indian Hindi Family Drama film produced by Samira Bandopadhyay under her banner Thumbnail Pictures and directed by Sudip Bandopadhyay. The film stars Naseeruddin Shah, Sonali Kulkarni, Aamir Bashir and Naveen Kasturia in lead roles and was released on 11 May 2018.
  8. Omerta

    It is a 2017 Indian biographical crime drama film directed by Hansal Mehta and stars Rajkumar Rao in the role of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, British terrorist of Pakistani descent. The film explores the 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India for which Omar was arrested and served time in prison and the plotting of murder of Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002. It was screened in the Special Presentations section at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, the Mumbai Film Festival, Florence Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival and the Busan International Film Festival. Omerta was the closing night film in 2018 New York Indian Film Festival. The first trailer was released on 14 March 2018 while the second trailer was released on 23 April 2018. Omerta was released on 4 May 2018 and received positive reviews from critics.
  9. 102 Not Out

    It is a 2018 Hindi-language Indian comedy-drama film directed by Umesh Shukla and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. The film is based on the eponymous Gujarati play written by Saumya Joshi. When it was announced that Bachchan and Kapoor were coming on-screen again it caused a stir. The reason is that around the time their casting was finalized Rishi Kapoor publicly accused Bachchan of never crediting his costars for his success. Even though this accusation was proven false, as sources show Bachchan writing about his costars in lengthy detail, it caused negative publicity. 102 Not Out was released on 4 May 2018.
  10. Indian Never Again Nirbhaya
    Based on the true event of Delhi bus gang rape in December 2012.  Directed by Bidisha Adhikari, Kanchan Adhikari and written by Ramesh Chandra Jha. The star cast includes Riecha Sharma, Dineshk Mehta, Gehana Vasisth etc
