Ramya Krishnan Calls Her Role in Super Delux As A Porn Star Was Most Challenging

Ramya Krishnan, who has earlier worked in blockbuster movie ‘Baahubali’ will be seen playing an adult star in Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s ‘Super Delux’. Revealing more about her role, Ramya Krishnan said that she took more almost 37 takes to for perfect scene in ‘Super Delux’. It has been a few days since the trailer was released. Super Delux also features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Samantha in a significant role.

The trailer featuring Ramya Krishnan as porn star left her fans shocked. The story of the ‘Super Delux’ is written by four acclaimed Tamil filmmakers named Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Mysskin, Nalan Kumarasamy and Neelan K. Sekar. Speaking about the movie, ‘Baahubali’ actress said, “More than me, my assistants were the ones who were shocked. Some roles are for money, some for popularity and name, some for passion. This was passion,” Ramya was quoted as saying by a leading Tamil daily.

It is to be noted that Ramya has earlier worked with several Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, Govinda and other. However, her latest role as an adult star has taken the actress to the next level. She called this character the most challenging role of her career.

When she was asked how she accepted the role, Ramya Krishnan revealed that it was the director’s conviction she believed in and gave her nod. “This one (Super Deluxe) is more about the content than the actors. It’s mostly Kumararaja,” the actress added.

Speaking about Ramya Krishnan’s Thiagarajan Kumararaja told India Today, “Ramya Krishnan was an odd person to play the role of the porn star in the film within the film, Mallu Uncut. We had initially approached Nadiya for the role, Ramya was very cool, and she probably felt that she was pushing herself out of her comfort zone.”
