NTR 30: Samantha Akkineni Replaces Rashmika Mandanna In Jr NTR’s Next?

Rashmika Mandanna — who has already delivered two blockbuster movies namely Sarileru Neekevvaru and Bheeshma — was reportedly in talks to star in Trivikram Srinivas’s next flick, which has Jr NTR playing the lead actor. As per the latest buzz, Rashmika Mandanna has been replaced by Samantha Akkineni.

Yes, Sarileru Neekevvaru actress was said to be the perfect choice for Jr NTR for Srinivas’ next but she has reportedly been replaced by Oh Baby actress, Samantha Akkineni. Samantha Akkineni and Jr NTR have previously worked together in multiple movies like ‘Janatha Garage’, ‘Rabhasa’, ‘Brindavanam’ and ‘Ramayya Vasthavayya’. Well, if this turns to be true, we will see the duo sharing screen space once again in ‘NTR 30’.

On the professional front, Jr NTR is currently bust shooting for SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR. He will join the sets of Trivikram’s next project once he concludes the shoot of RRR. Currently dubbed as NTR 30, it is co-produced by none other than NTR’s brother Nandamuri Kalyanram and S Radha Krishna under the banners NTR Arts banner and Haarika & Hassine Creations respectively.

Samantha, on the other hand, was last seen in the Telugu film ‘Jaanu’. The actress is currently busy shooting for Aswin Saravanan’s next.

In the meantime, there are several reports doing the rounds on social media that Rashmika Mandanna is in talks to star opposite Allu Arjun in the Sukumar directorial. Notably, Rashmika has become one of the most sought after actresses of Tollywood.

The shooting of NTR 30 is likely to go on floors later this year and the film is scheduled to release summer 2021.
