Shawn Mendes Flies Over 3,000 Miles To Celebrate Camila Cabello’s Birthday

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello really are the ultimate couple goals. Camila Cabello recently celebrated her 23rd birthday at Blackpool Tower in the UK and boyfriend Shawn Mendes traveled all the way from Toronto to celebrate with her. It was over 3,000 miles and a six-hour flight. That is some serious dedication!

Shawn Mendes was spotted at the Toronto airport with his mother yesterday but the Senorita singer made sure he was present for the birthday of his girlfriend Camila Cabello. The Havana singer shared many moments from her birthday party on her Instagram story complete with an ice slipper sculpture.

Camila Cabello has currently been working on Sony’s upcoming Cinderella adaptation. On the other hand, Shawn Mendes wrapped up his tour at the end of December and has been silent on social media since then. He hasn’t posted a public birthday wish for Camila. However, his grand gesture speaks more than any social media post.

Cinderella director Kay Cannon shared a photo of the lovebirds together. She captioned the post, “Sweet @camila_cabello turns 23 today!!! Celebratin’ “Cinderella” style. Happy bday, Cinders!!!!! @shawnmendes”

This isn’t the first time Shawn Mendes has traveled a long distance to be with Camila Cabello. He first visited his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. In addition, paparazzi caught Mendes buying flowers and chocolates for Cabello in London in the afternoon. They were later spotted at The Fat Duck restaurant in Bray, Berkshire. While the two decided to skip walking the Grammys 2020 red carpet together, they were seen cozying up at the after-parties.
