Shruti Haasan Takes Up Mahesh Babu’s Green India Challenge

After Thalapathy Vijay, we now have actress Shruti Haasan accepting the Green India Challenge given by Telugu star Mahesh Babu. The actress planted saplings at her residence in Hyderabad. Thanking the superstar she further nominated actors Hrithik Roshan, Rana Daggubati, and Tamannaah Bhatia to plant saplings and to take the challenge forward.

Mahesh Babu soon reciprocated and thanking Shruti tweeted, “Appreciate it Shruti, Glad to see the initiative gaining momentum.”

Earlier we had Thalapathy taking up the challenge and planting a sapling in his garden. He tweeted, “This is for you @urstrulyMahesh garu. Here’s to a Greener India and Good health. Thank you #StaySafe.”

The Green India Challenge, initiated by Rajya Sabha MP J. Santosh Kumar, has many people challenging each other, thus increasing the green cover in the country. Celebrities like Samantha Akkineni, Thalapathy Vijay, Prabhas, and Rashmika Mandanna among others participated in this initiative to spread awareness about green India.

On the work front, Shruti Haasan will be seen in Ravi Teja starrer ‘Krack’, Jananathan’s Laabam and Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab.
