Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has jumped to number one spot in the week 42. It is now officially the favorite television show according to the television rankings. The television show airing on sony sab channel had been having a lot of suspense over re-entry of Dayaben.

Apparently, a lot was going on whether or not Dayaben would do a comeback in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Nothing was clear about her return. Disha Vakani who essays the role of Dayaben in TMKOC had been on maternity leave for two years. The audience loved Dayaben’s chirpy character and had been missing her the most. The absence of the garba queen was felt the most.

Dayaben was the most loved character in the television show besides Jethalal. There were reports earlier stating that she would do a comeback. In fact it was said that Disha Vakani would do grand comeback in TMKOC in navratri episode. Later on, Dayaben did a brief appearance in the episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Her first look was revealed and had been breaking the internet across all the social media platforms.

Disha’s new photos of the first look as Dayaben were shared by the excited fans on the social media. Usually Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah manages to maintain its position in the Top 5. However, this time due to the on-going suspense going on for a while over Dayaben’s return and her first look, the television hit comedy show topped the charts and ranked in the first position.
